I am Jimmy Dexter, and I am the owner of MacTavish, an award-winning Pudelpointer. I reside in Colorado, where hunting is as popular as the Colorado Avalanche hockey team. Mac is named after Craig MacTavish, the last NHL player not to wear a helmet. As a versatile hunting dog breed from Germany, Pudelpointers are known for their phenomenal hunting skills. Mac has scored perfectly in each of the NAVHDA tests, and I am proud to have him perform on cue. I am the General Manager of Colorado's premier hockey facility, the Sport Stable, and the Head Coach for the Monarch Coyotes. Growing up playing hockey through college, that passion never left, if you don't see me on the ice, I'm most likely hunting.

 

My passion for hockey and hunting has led me to create Hockey & Hunting, LLC, a merchandise and apparel site with future bookings for private guide tours in Colorado.
